If KC is 13-1....do you rest the starters?
Obliviously a few things have to break right for KC to see this scenario to play out....but its not out of the realm of happening. NE has a road game against the Steelers and Vikings at home. Chargers have Bengals/Ravens and road games against Steelers and Denver.
If KC wins this week....they realistically could be sitting at 13-1 with a 2.5 game advantage in the AFC. What do you do? Do you take a 3 week vacation and avoid any chance of injury? |
You rest no one until HFA is locked.
|
I think in this scenario, it is locked. He is saying after week 15, the Chiefs have clinched the #1 seed. Do you rest the starters? I think that is what he is saying.

I put Houston, Ford, Watkins, Hunt, Kelce and LDT on snap counts.
The rest need to go as regularly planned. |
Play them 1.5 quarters week 16 then sit them out week 17.

Not until home field is locked down. And even then, you'd only rest them the last week, they're already going to get a week off in that scenario. You can't lay guys up for three or four weeks and expect them to come out in playoff form

Berry plays all of the snaps!

Yes, rest them.
It seems like every playoff game KC loses someone to an injury and then the offense falls apart. Give the #2's some reps so they can finally step up if need be. |
