The National Football League officially announced its 2018 preseason schedule on Wednesday. The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off their preseason slate at Arrowhead Stadium against the Houston Texans followed by back-to-back road contests against the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears. Kansas City will close out the preseason at home against the Green Bay Packers. Dates and times will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

All four contests will be aired live on KCTV5.

All I care about is the day and time for the Chiefs. Not the week they are played.

Let me guess - KC gets the 1st and 4th preseason games at home, 2nd and 3rd (the haflway decent ones) on the road. Seems to have been the case the last few years.

We keep getting screwed getting games 1 and 4, which is the second most meaningless, and the MOST meaningless pre-season games. Terrible value for the buck. Sucks.

Why exactly would he do that? Makes no sense.

The Chiefs have been stuck with pre-season game 1 and 4 for four straight years. That sucks. Here's the other years:
2014: Home game 1 and 3
2013: Home game 2 and 4
2012: Home game 1 and 3
2011: Home game 1 and 3
2010: Home game 3 and 4

The entertainment value of these games is basically: 3, 2, 1, 4.
We haven't got a three since 2014, and we've been stuck with a 4 a lot. The fourth game is totally frickin worthless. Both teams run vanilla, nobody plays a starter for fear of injury, and there's maybe five or six spots on the roster up for grabs by that point. And the NFL charges full price for all NFL exhibition games. It's a total racket.

Anyone want to sell me a ticket for cheap?

Don’t expect to see Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers in the 4th game. Shoot for the 1st game vs Houston when you get a quarter of Mahomes & Watson.

I'm just scared Hahomes gets an injury .I don't want him playing in the preseason, or the regular season . just the playoffs and then just the first half .

Come to Chicago for game 3, I'll make ya a hotdog...with an entire pickle spear and half a tomato on it with a poppy seed bun that'll stick around in your teeth until the regular season starts.

Mahomes is like a snow globe in your luggage that you're bringing home to your child after a business trip. He's no starting QB.
