Can we talk about how bad our radio crew is?
So I'm listening to the game today, which is very rare for me...
"Keep the feet-- keep the foot on the foot feet" - Mitch Holthus trying to say "keep the foot on the pedal" Kendall Gammon can't go an entire sentence without stumbling over his words. And that "put the hammer down" thing at the start of the 4th is so ****ing lame. Does anybody listen regularly? Are they always this bad? Thank you. |
I'm sorry if this isn't a nice thread during what looks to be a big win. It's just bugging me!

When I listen it's feed is about 3 seconds ahead of the game on TV and I know what's happening before it happens but I rather not know.

I hope Mitch retires and Kendall gets replaced with somebody who has taken at least one public speaking class. |
Holthus is the worst. Just a corny, tiresome homer.

At least the Chiefs have tasted the sweet nectar of the endzone today

PUT THE HAMMER DOWN!

Is Sorenson part of it? If so, then it’s probably horrible

I was listening on the way home from the airport and it was just hilariously bad. Even Mitch is just...way past his prime, and his act is tired.
Gammon shouldn't be in radio. His voice is annoying and his insight, while appreciated, isn't at the level it should be to make up for his awful style and speech patterns. The franchise consistently comes up short in hiring the right people for the job whether it's coaching, quarterbacking, front office or peripheral positions. |
