Success breeds success. Bills probably thought since Dorsey fleeced them paying minimal IMHO they thought let's get some of that Dorsey DNA in our house.:D

This almost seems fair. Andy tells them he wants a super sized Big Mac and french fries with a large diet coke and the deal is done.

**** yeah he did. A (late) 1st and a (late) 3rd to move up into the top 10? IIRC, the Texans paid more to move up less spots.

Ok. It's pretty much aligned with the draft value chart but I know that doesn't always mean that much.

To move 17 spots up especially in the 1st rd is rarely done. All we gave up was a 3rd this year and our 1st next year. If we have a good year this year we will be in the bottom of the 1st next yr anyway which might as well be the top of the 2nd when it comes to talent and value of a player. Because once you get past the first 15 players you are out of the elite class of players most years anyway.

The last trade that moved up significantly like that was the Julio Jones deal. Look at what the Falcons gave up. Now I realize they picked at 6 and we were 10 but still we got a heckuva deal and why Doug Whaley because he knew he was getting the axe decided to screw the Bills brass by not asking anymore. Quite frankly he should have asked for an additional 3rd or our 2nd and 2 4s. Bottom line we got a deal !!

The Falcons got their man
All in all, the Falcons sent the Browns a first-round pick (No. 27), a second-round pick (No. 59) and a fourth-round pick (No. 124) in 2011, and also chipped in the No. 1 pick in 2012 (No. 22) and their No. 4 pick in 2012 (No. 118).

The Chiefs nearly paid less for Mahomes than Smith.


That blows my mind.

34th and 56th pick for Smith vs. the 27th and a late 3rd rounder for Mahomes.
