Kelce had offseason shoulder surgery

Quote:

It's not exactly the news anyone wanted to hear, but Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelceunderwent offseason shoulder surgery, according to Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who spoke to the media at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday afternoon.

"Travis had his shoulder cleaned out a little bit, so he'll be out for most of the offseason," Reid said.

Reid did add that he believes Kelce should be ready for training camp

This isn't a bad thing seeing as how Kelce is a decent blocker, but he's basically Eric Fisher from a few years ago. He won't get to get stronger this offseason.

It's a deep TE class. We've got to get one that can block worth a shit

Saw that. Not sure what to make of it. Hopefully its nothing that lingers.

He's a total Amos Otis, if you're looking for a comp.

Maybe they could fix Kelce's hands.

6-10 on deck

I hope it didn't happen during a touchdown celebration.

Football seems to be hard on a person's body. These guys are young and in good condition, and they have more surgeries than most fifty year olds.

Maybe his shoulder went out for throwing that towel probably.
