Anybody out there who is interested in doing a "today's news" series?
 

It's the offseason, so there's not a TON of Chiefs news out there, but I feel like we never get a chance to talk about some of the more minor things out there.

Is there anyone out there who 1) enjoys writing a bit and 2) follows Chiefs news pretty closely (via Chiefs.com, twitter, KC Star, etc.)? I think it'd be cool to have someone write up a quick daily (or weekly at least) summary of the random stuff that's happened that probably isn't thread-worthy on its own.

Any takers?

As one minor example, there's a nice article on Kelce basically saying he grew up a bit this postseason here. Probably not worth a thread, but it's a nice filler when we don't have much else going on.

Eh, I don't think we'll ever be a "news site" per se. That's not our strength. Our strength is rapid-fire conversation, though, and we can't have the conversation without the conversation starter.

Daily might be a bit aggressive and hard to fill with info

I like the idea. If it was a weekly thing during the offseason, you could have alternating volunteers. I'd volunteer for a week here and there.

He doesn't get nearly the shit he deserves for dropping a 40 yard pass delivered right to his bread basket ... and then, on the very next play, getting flagged for a 15 yard penalty for being a dipshit.

Just a horrific turn of events in that game.
