"The devastated vicar whose wife ran off with TV’s Robson Green says he hopes the couple will have a good life together and that he has to forgive his estranged missus.

Reverend Geoffrey Short, below, said after holding a service at his church his faith had been strengthened after wife Zoila, 43, left him to live with the popular actor.

But he added Green was “haunting” him and “taking over” his life.

He told the Daily Mirror: “Now is the time for us all to get on with our lives. I have drawn, from the people at the church, a great deal of healing and peace.

“These people have been absolutely wonderful. I have taken comfort in my faith. I hope Robson Green and Zoila have a good life together.”

Green, 51, below, started the relationship with Zoila when they met at a gym they shared in Newcastle-upon-Tyne..."

I just assume everyone has an if-she-gets-hit-by-a-bus list.

His faith was strengthened because something bad happened to him? I don't get that. It seems like your faith should be strengthened by good things happening, not bad. Is his faith weakened by good things?

For example, here's his logic.

"My wife left me for another man. There is a god!"

and

"I just won the powerball. God wouldn't let this happen."

Too bad all religions are fake. Maybe this pastor shouldn't have been cheating people out of their money and stealing it by telling people they will get a "higher seat in a magic land called heaven" that doesn't exist and then proceeds to use the money to go on trips and go buy large houses. Doesn't matter if you are Christian, Islamic, Buddist, Hinduist, or scientologist. All religions are scams for sheep that don't have the testicular fortitude to become something in life so it appeals to the low and middle classes that they can blame some invisible force or "Satan" for the bad things they do and never take responsibility for their own actions. But again, most of you neck beard Armchair GMs already know what it feels like to have a woman walk out on you multiple times.
