I'd like to see him actually get to the QB rather than just apply a little pressure, but hopefully that will come in time.

He has had 3 sacks in the last 3 games. That projects pretty well over a season.

Can't really blame him for Manziel, he's one of those guys who you can't just pin your ears back against or he will light you up through the B/C gaps.

Pressures are actually probably just as important. Leads to errant throws, interceptions, etc.

I can't wait to see what this defense is going to be like with a healthy Houston on the strong side and Ford lighting up LTs on the weak/blind side...especially with this DL.

Gonna be a fun ride.

I don't think that narrative happened nearly as much as people have been suggesting. Occasionally someone would say it, but it was always met with people noting that he was stuck behind 2 great players in Houston and Hali.

Not me, he was in my sig for months as one of my top 5 hopefuls to draft. I got slammed repeatedly for saying he could be the best pass rusher from that draft, including Clowney "if his back holds up to the strength training we will have as a pro.

The guy gets sacks at the most opportune times and helps win games.

It didn't stop the mob from calling him a bust.

IMO, the sky's the limit for Ford.

His first step is outright ridiculous.
