It has to be that. Or that he's hurt. He just flipped a switch and started playing terrible. He's never had a stretch this bad.

Also, they haven't announced this but I bet the game might be moved to ESPN 2.

The US Open men's tennis final has been rain delayed and is just about to start. No way it'll be over in an hour.

It looks like the game will be on ESPN2 as the US Tennis Open Men's Final is scheduled to begin around 6:15 on ESPN.

Hope it is as easy as that, but unlikely. Easier for the coaches to come up with something like this than to say, "Well, he's just stunk lately."

I'm not as skeptical about this sort of thing as most fans. Yeah, it can come off as a lame excuse, but this is a rather specific thing. Even if no one else noticed he was tipping his pitches and he just coincidentally stunk, if the Royals pitching coaches notice a tell in his delivery that a hitter can use to know whats coming, that is still a very bad thing, and sooner or later our opponents and their advance scouts are going to see it.

Game is going to start on ESPN2, while tennis is finishing up. Just a heads up so nobody is bitching about why the game isn't on.
