Can someone make a new forum layout

Or is there a way to get it so it's not a plain white background and it's a darker color background? like black and red or black and blue for the royals planet skin?

even a dark grey would be ok with me, but this is sooo bright

Have you tried changing the brightness of your screen?

It's all the way turned down, but I don't use white backgrounds for anything and try to avoid it because my eyes are very sensitive to light. Soooo, yeah.

What are you viewing it on? Comp, tablet, phone?

There's also an option to simply dim the site without affecting the color at all.

Not trying to be a dick, but I'd hate to see AustinChief change the color scheme just because one poster has decided it's "too bright". I think it's just fine the way it is.

I think he's asking for a different theme as an option but not as default. For example you can change it to "royals planet" from the bottom left drop down box whenever you feel like it

I'm okay with the forum as is but having different color option would be nice. As I've gotten older, the black text on white is getting harder to read. I much prefer a dark background with light text like this page. In fact, my Kindle is set to a black background with white text (light gray would be better) and it is really easy on the eyes.

I was using the High Contrast scheme on Chrome, but that wasn't cutting it for me. You are awesome, hopefully one of these catches on as an option for the background here.
