Looks like we're going to get some wacky line ups this month.

This one has to be a let down for those who thought Alex was actually going to bat lead off when he returned. Esky's not even playing--Alex still batting 6th.

Alex will be at leadoff come playoff time ... Bet my bottom dollar

Seems like Cuthbert rakes soft tossing left hand pitching, could be a lefty hitting specialist along with Gomes in the playoffs. Would be most excellent.

I think it makes sense, but I don't pretend to know what Ned will do. He seems very reluctant to make changes though.
But I guess I wonder why, if Ned thinks it is such a great idea for the playoffs, why it isn't done now? Are you predicting that he just suddenly comes to his senses?

I'd like to think that's because Moose is still out.

Props to Volqy for stepping up in the starter role when we started to get into trouble. Hes gone above and beyond and given us several good starts. Definitely our most reliable starter. True #1.
