Made a trip to Hawaii
 

I made a trip to Hawaii last week with the wife. Between the two of us, we took between 2000 and 3000 photos, I think.

I spent most of the day culling my haul and doing some light editing. These are the ones I'm thinking about printing, so I need to do some more editing.

We did a sunrise photo tour, spent a day at Waimea Valley, she hiked Diamondhead. Ate some kickass seafood.

I don't think any of my waterfall shots will come out. Travel tripod wasn't stout enough for my gear, even though it said it was. Likewise, almost all of my long exposure sunrise stuff had motion blur from the shake in the wind.

I loved Valley of the Temples. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot.

Did your wife make it up Diamond Head ok? The steep narrow stairs near the top nearly killed me.

Yeah, she had no trouble. She did it last year too, so I think this one was easier, knowing what she was in for.

I had a young Asian woman in a tennis like skirt with sport shorts on underneath directly in front of me. I figured I'd just focus on that and everything would be cool. Not even a quarter of the way up I forgot she was even there. :shake:
