Troy Polamalu Retires
Troy Polamalu's clock to Canton can start now. The definitive Pittsburgh Steeler of the team's recent titles told the Herald-Standard (Uniontown, Pennsylvania) that he has decided to retire.
"I did not seriously consider playing elsewhere," Polamalu said in a phone interview with Jim Wexell. "It was just whether or not I wanted to play." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ter-12-seasons |
Good. **** him and his hair and Pittsburgh.

1st ballot

Guy has t been what he's billed as in like 5 years. **** him. **** his commercials and **** all the hair-baters. He was elite for awhile. He's been average for a lot longer.

What's up with the animosity around here? He was a good player and seemed like a decent guy. Maybe a bit overrated later in his career.

Decent guy. Good luck.

We haven't had a safety that good since the 80s. |
LJ hairamaulu tackle gif please

Great player but I still can't believe Ed Reed vs Troy Polamalu was a thing. I'd take Reed over Troy 11 times out of 10.

Ed Reed was an elite FS for much longer than Troy was. Troy had about 6-7 years of elite playmaker in him. Not hating, but there never was a debate in my mind between Troy and Ed. Ed is a top 3 safety of all time IMO.
