I'm just making excuses, but it does suck.

It does. There's no defending it. All of the games end up looking like garbage. At least this one was close, but there's a reason teams need about a week to prep.

does anyone know what percentage of visiting teams lose on Thursday nights? We looked flat as hell from the get go.

Home teams are 8-4 on Thursday night games this year.

Raiders probably disagree right now. They were apparently tough enough to do it.

Got 3 Thursday games next week.

Its just not enough time for a physical sport like this....KC had no day off and had to travel 3000 miles. They looked tired..which they are.

It's a shit idea..

The NFL won tonight at the expense of the chiefs and possibly the chiefs season. They send us halfway across the country on a short week to play a shitty team, with nothing to lose and was treating a nationally televised game like the Super Bowl. On top of that now their darlings the Denver Mannings are back in first place.

Was it too physical for Oakland?

Thursday Night Football is the goddamn worst. And it's not like this is a new revelation tonight. It sucks on principle.

They didn't have to travel, which definitely makes a difference.
