This will be one of the things we’ll probably discuss and then we’ll also have to talk to broadcast partners and there are some scheduling issues that we still need to work through.”

It seems unlikely that the league will expand the playoffs for the 2014 season. But it looks like it’s going to get done in 2015.

If the game changes every year, how can they expect anyone to stick around for very long?

It's only 1 team per conference.

Change your tampons.

Its one extra team per conference. It won't hurt anything, and will be nice for the 10-win team who's stuck on the outside looking in every year.

What will be cool, is if they ever start giving home games based on record seeding as opposed to division champs. There's no reason a 7-9 (shitty) division champ team should be hosting a 12-4 #5 seed.
