Have You Seen Yourself on TV???
I know Stevie (First Down Elvis) and Monty (Arrowman) show up on TV all the time during Chiefs home games. I was watching NFL network the other night, and saw this. Think this was from the Monday Night Football game vs. Buffalo in either late 1980's or early 1990's when KC kicked the day living shit out of Jim Kelley. This is my pal Gary on the left, and my friend Teak choking himself. Teak has been on Metro Sports commercials as the tattoo guy, who is putting tats on Dave Stewart.
How bout you? Do you have a picture of yourself on TV? http://i45.tinypic.com/1g3i8n.gif |
I have never been on tv. Too self conscious.

No pictures.
But, I was on the news in Wichita back when they had their major flood in the late 90s. I was pushing a car through like 5-7 inches of water. I'm basically a hero. |

Yes for various non football sporting events. Playoff baseball home run balls being caught near/right next to me etc.

Isringhausen gave up a game tying HR against the Tigers in interleague play in '06. Landed two seats away from me, and as Tiger fans scrambled for the ball, I just tried to hate it into oblivion.
Didn't work, about a two-frame spot of me in a throng of people ended up on Sportscenter. |
I've never been on TV, either... if I was I'd be "like whoa!"

The last time was the Tampa preseason game in 2011 when they invited 50 season ticket holders onto the field pre-game.

I have been at least once, but I never saw it. I was at Union Station the day of the 2007 KU/MU game, and one of the local news stations was showing people pictures of historical figures to see if they knew who they were.
I identified Quantrill as a "freedom fighter" and John Brown as "Osama bin Laden's grandpa." :D I was already on the way to the game when it was shown on TV, though. My wife, aunt and uncle saw it. |

I had to perform CPR on my 18 month old sister when she stopped breathing due to an extremely high fever. I was 13 yrs old. She started breathing again and ended up being OK, but KAKE television did a small story about it and I was presented an award from the American Red Cross. My friends made fun of me for weeks.

I was interviewed once and both of my girls were zoomed in on at a Chief game when there were young toddlers. My youngest daughter made it a second time when we were on the first row and KC Wolf jumped in her face.

Went to a cubs/sox game a few years ago at wrigley. A homerun comes at me and my buddy who are in standing-room at the top of the bleachers, goes through his arms, bounces off the concrete at our feet at a weird angle and bounced all the way back onto the field. Went I got home I recorded a replay and saw my buddy throwing his arms up in disgust and me with a beer in my hand doin' the :doh!: move.
Me and another buddy went to a filming of Jerry Springer once. My bud stood up and made a comment. I never saw it air although some of our other friends have. |
Yep, I was on TV during the first Joe Montana Chiefs game in Tampa. I had a sign comparing Joe Montana to Barry Manilow.
