Alan Keyes just said Obama plans to mow down billions of people with some of his proposed gun control measures.

I will say, there is probably no issue the GOP freaks out more about than gun safety.

Abortion, torture, health care... some others are up there. But the silly vitriol has been particularly exacting on this issue.

Well, I do think schools no longer teaching right from wrong, and even questioning them with values clarification PLUS no parents home contributes to some degree.

Obama told us in 2004 that blue and red states both "belive in an awesome God". So clearly Obama would agree that a lack of God in any aspect of life would probably lead to bad things. He's on board.

I'd certainly say that godlessness causes us all enormous problems, pain and suffering, but I think it's unwise for high profile people of faith to blame specific outcomes on general godlessness.
