Deserve?

Douche Baggins 11-17-2012 10:42 AM

What makes Target workers more special than other retail slobs?

lcarus 11-17-2012 10:43 AM

Some jobs make you work holiday hours you don't wanna work. In this case, it's their companies biggest day to make money. Don't they get double pay or time and a half?

3rd&48ers 11-17-2012 10:43 AM

Are they forcing them to work without pay?

You'd have to know the city of Corona, Ca. to know how normal this person is within his community.

They're not talking about Black Friday, they want Thanksgiving off, which is one of like 2 holidays that retail workers usually get off.

Hospitals should all be closed too.

I don't know, I do think the whole idea of Wal-Mart and Target starting at 8 or 9 on Thanksgiving day is stupid. Where does it end?

I'm pretty sure that Target wants to lengthen it's BF hours so that it starts earlier....on Thanksgiving day.

That's not Black Friday. That's Thanksgiving Thursday. Guess it comes down to semantics. I think retail workers should not be forced to work on Thanksgiving. If they are given an option to have the day off with no penalty, I am cool.
