We have a half gallon of "The Great Divide" in the freezer right now. The best of both worlds.

More of a Breyers fan.

Off the top of my head I can think of four brands better. BB isn't total crap, but it's close.

bishop_74 08-30-2008 08:21 AM

...and you can't get it in Denver. My wife hasn't stopped complaining about it since we got here.

Never tried it but heard good things. Anyone know where I could pick some up in Springfield?

jjchieffan 08-30-2008 08:59 AM

I think you can buy it in any grocery store in springfield. Cheapest would be food 4 less.
I have to agree that Blue Bell is best. My favorite is moolineum crunch. I also like the fact that they are still a half gallon while all the others try to dupe their customers by shrinking the package down to 1.75 quart. Hell, I think it is Breyers that has gone down to 1.5 quarts. Do they really think that people will not notice that they are getting less ice cream? I guess its not the first time someone has done that. Candy bars are certainly smaller than they used to be.

Blue Bell tastes just like the good ol' days.....

Cause... you know... the good ol' days obviously tasted delicious with all that dirt and lack of plumbing...
