Return - 1 pt every 25 yds. TDs are 6 points for either. |
And for what it is worth I picked up Marcus Thigpen of Miami last week.
Dude had 200 retum yards plus a TD. |
Oh, my main league has 1 point for 15 yards receiving and 1 pt for 15 yards returning. So, in my scoring I would go Cribbs. Course we get .5 points per reception. That's a tough decision really. Cincinnatti looked really good on offense though, so I think Cribbs gets alot of kick-off tries which should boost his scoring. He could get 150 yards in kickoffs and I don't think DHB gets 90 yards in receptions. So, I guess Cribbs.
In your scoring, grabbing Thigpen was good, but I'm not sure I would trust him for a start yet. Oakland will score, for sure, but enough to really make the kick returner that relevant.. just not sure. I don't like to take chances on newcomers based on a single game. Cribbs is established as a great returner. |
It is a pretty shitty predicament.
Hoping like Hell Garcon can play. |
**** this is a difficult week for me to decide. This is my $100, 10 team, PPR league.
pick: 2 WR, 2 RB, and 1 RB/WR Chris Johnson Jamaal Charles Ahmad Bradshaw Roddy White Dez Bryant Reggie Wayne Stevie Johnson |
What do you guys think of Aldrick Robinson or Jason Avant?
Robinson could get more targets if Garcon doesn't play and Avant is sure to get a look of Maclin and/or Cooper don't play. Still got Wallace, Welker, and Cruz. Robinson or Avant could be a flex play. |
Quote:
Bradshaw White Johnson Flex: Wayne *Hard not to start Bryant, but those 3 WRs are better PPR options to me. |
PPR League
Trent Richardson @ Cin Alfred Morris @ StL |
Miles Austin and Andre Johnson are my other 2 starting WR's.
Who should I start for my 3rd WR? Dwayne Bowe @ Buffalo or Anquan Boldin @ Philly or Randy Moss vs. Detroit or Santana Moss @ St. Louis |

Pick me a flex. No ppr, standard scoring. We also get return yardage pts.
Jonathan Stewart (I have Williams as RB #2) Dwyer Cribbs DHB Aldrick Robinson via WW Avant via WW Fingers crossed that Garcon plays so I don't have to worry about this cluster****. |
If steve smith doesn't play for Carolina this week, i need someone in my flex slot. Here are my options:
Meachem SD vTEN DHB OAK @MIA Ingram NO @CAR Amendola StL vWAS |

Boldin frustrated the hell out of me last year. Last week's game was something I never got to experience while starting him. He'd seemingly be good for 7-8 points, max......sometimes he would dwindle in the 2-4 range. Alex Smith locked on to Moss SO much in red zone situations last week. |

How does Brandon Lafell generally do? I picked him up on the wire this week. Is he worth a start? I honestly don't know much about him.
I have the following slots to fill: RB: RB: WR: WR: WR/RB: Here is who I have starting so far: RB: Demarco Murray (probable status) RB: Kevin Smith (injury prone) WR: Marques Colston WR: Roddy White (probable status...groin) RB/WR: Miles Austin (probable status...hamstring) Here are the WR's and RB's on my bench: WR: Kendall Wright, Brandon Lafell RB: Peyton Hillis, Fred Jackson (out), Felix Jones, David Wilson. Am I starting the right people? Should I consider making roster moves at this point? Please help, thanks! |
Flex spot, standard scoring. Who do you go with?
McGahee Ogletree McCluster Stephen Hill McGahee prolly gets me 80 yards, don't know if I trust him to get a score. Ogletee and Stephen Hill could both be one week wonders but I honestly think they both will pan out - I'm guessing 70-80 yards for each of them too and I think at least one of them scores.(my gut says it's Ogletree but Hill got a lot of looks from Sanchez in the redzone) McCluster just because. I said before I drafted him(last round btw) that I thought he'd put up 80 yards a week and here we are. If he gets away from someone he could score so it's a very homerific pick, just can't help throwing his name out there. |
Quote:
I don't think you can trust Wilson just yet. He may have a great week but the fact that he got pulled after a fumble and never was let back in the game is worrisome. Probably just tough love to prove a point but I don't trust him yet. I don't think Jones will get enough work. I think Lafell gets more yards but I think Hillis gives you a better chance at a TD this week. Depends on if you're willing to risk it after that bad performance last week. |
Looks like Garcon is out.
Rolling with Dwyer as my FLEX. **** me. |
Since Garcon is out...
Do I go with Titus Young, Aldrick Robinson, or Jon Baldwin? |
Reggie Wayne vs Vikings
or Antonio Brown vs Jets |
Quote:
|
Who should I start? Jonathan Baldwin or Brandon LaFell. LaFell was my top pick for a sleeper, last week he hooked up with Cam in the end zone for a touchdown.
|
Quote:
I would go with Robinson. |
Doug Martin vs. NYG
Stevan Ridley vs Ari I have MJD and Charles starting, and have to pick of of the two above for my WR/RB slot. Which would you pick? |

I have him in both leagues I am in. However, I am just going to trot out ogletree/cruz/CJ in one league just to be safe. But what to do in the league above? |

which QB? they produced the same last week
Ryan vs San Diego Newton vs Giants |
Which defense would you pick up and roll with this week?
Lions or Colts? Colts play the Jags. Lions play the Titans. |

Shit....I don't know. Lol |
So, my WR3 has been killing me.
I'm 2-0 and play the #1 overall guy this week. Cruz and Megatron are always must starts. My others WRs consist of DHB, Baldwin, Cribbs and Boldin. Kerley, Hawkins, Avery, Mike Williams are some FAs. This is a non-ppr league. And we get return yardage. Cribbs has been my most consistent WR3 thus far. Just been gun shy starting him for return yardage only. I kind of think Baldwin is a good play as I suspect Chiefs will be playing from behind the entire game. Cribbs, Mike Williams, and Baldwin are all intriguing plays this week. |

Although, I believe Wilson will have his chance at redeeming himself, the Giants have used him sparingly thus far. It is standard procedure for Coughlin to bench rookies who fumble. Quote:
Brown will start on Thursday if Bradshaw is unable to play. Hope he makes the most of his first opportunity. |

I have a plethora of issues on one team this week (standard scoring .01 per yard and 6 per TD)
I need to fill my RB2, RB/WR, and WR2 slots RB - Mathews vs Atl, Andre Brown @ Car, Stewart vs NYG WR - AJ Green @ Was, Bowe @ NO, Antonio Brown @ Oak I know which ways I'm leaning, would just like an other opinion or three. Rep to the first five |

And this is the first week that I really don't have a ton of roster questions. Here is my lineup: M. Ryan vs. Chargers D. Martin vs. Cowboys S. Ridley vs. Ravens J. Jones vs. Chargers A. Green vs. Redskins J. Finley vs. Seahawks V. Cruz vs. Panthers Lions D vs. Titans J. Tucker vs. Pats Really the only thing weighing on my mind is whether to roll with Finley vs. the Seahawks or Greg Olsen vs. the Giants. |

Wide receivers I would go Bowe for sure and probably AJ Green. |

Not here to influence - But here is something to think about - If the Giants front 4 deliver they don't need a secondary.

Okay, Ive got a tough one this week. My RBs went from shitty to...slightly better. Need to pick 2:
Trent Richardson (CLE) vs BUF Doug Martin (TB) at DAL Alfred Morris (WAS) vs CIN Andre Brown (NYG) at CAR |
Found out you should trust your first instincts, not make changes at the last minute. Last week I had a choice between Bowe and Stevie Johnson. I saw Bowe do nothing first week and thought Stevie would be the latest Julio Jones to light us up. I've also run into teams that have outperformed expectations by 50% both weeks. Sitting on 0-2. Made a move to put Peyton on the bench this week against Houston while starting Eli who plays the Panthers.

All I'm saying, it's not an easy decision. (Newton vs. the Giants) |

Regardless of what defense he plays against. Right now, the NYG D hasn't shown to be really that good. I would be surprised if that changes tomorrow night. |

Who should I start?
not a ppr league :( Amendola @ Chi or Julio Jones @ SD or I could do both of them with 1 being the flex other WR is Reggie Wayne, consistent so far, gonna play. Then my RB's are a mess Matt Forte (Q) - vs STL Ben Jarvis Green Ellis @ Wsh Shonn Greene @ Mia Doug Martin @ Dallas Forte will play if he's gonna play. Then, but I'm leaning towards Doug Martin or Green Ellis for the other other HB and maybe the HB over one of the WR's for the flex. hmmm....quite the pickle. |
Amendola imo
and Check if Michael Bush is avilible in your free agency otherwise id go with the lawfirm and forte |

The Panthers are 6-3 when Newton rushes for at least 50 yards but 1-4 when he is their leading rusher. If the Panthers are able to run the ball they should win. J/M/O Now, if Garry Williams starts in place of Byron Bell, who figures to be a game time decision - it could spell trouble for Newton. Also, Jonathan Stewart is listed as questionable for Thursday night. Running quarterbacks usually do poorly in the NFC. Newton seems to be an accurate passer and makes big pass plays in the pocket - However, he likes to take off downfield as a rusher - and has trouble sliding when he comes out of the pocket. As for the Giants, they have their own problems. |
Andre Brown, NYG RB vs. Carolina
or Mark Ingram, NO RB vs. Kansas City |

The defenses they are facing have been more consistently bad against average running teams. Martin and Richardson face defenses that look bad on paper, but that’s from one bad week against run-first teams. Or am I overanalyzing this? lol. |
Pick my WR3. I asked this before, but I'm second guessing myself. No PPR, we do get return yardage however.
Boldin, DHB, Cribbs, Mike Williams? Right now I'm rolling with Williams, but really tempted to roll with Cribbs -- who so far, has been the most WR3 option I've had. |

I’d probably roll Williams, but would look hard at the defenses they are all playing. |
Week one he had 8.45 points, week two he had 12.45. So roughly he is averaging 10.5 points thus far.
Williams has been averaging 9.5 the two weeks. But he also has a TD each week. So I think I'm going to roll with Williams. |
