Other people think of me as a downer, but I don't see myself that way. I'm just unfiltered. I don't hide what I think about anyone, myself included. I also have a tendency to talk about things now, but never say what I think about the future. If you're willing to get rid of it, does it really matter how much you sell it for? In the great game of garage sales, you make more money by selling more for less. Not by overpricing things and making room for it again when you don't sell it.

As for the TV selling fiasco with my wife, the thing is I wouldn't have sold it PERIOD if all I was going to get out of it was $50. I'd have kept it. ANd the thing is, I know for a FACT that I could have gotten $100 at a pawn shop. And we're not really having the garage sale to make money but to clear out a bunch of shit. The TV I could have used in my edit room if worse came to worse.
