Funny I must say.

They are a very vocal minority.

Bearcat 04-29-2013 08:36 PM

The two extremes are both full of morons.

There are those who will undoubtedly complain about anything and everything. They stick out more when they're rooting for a successful team like Kansas basketball, but some are Chiefs fans as well.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are the true fans who are hopelessly oblivious. They will often act like they're smarter than everyone else because they can see the bigger picture. The trenches are more important than a QB, they're smart enough to always defer to the real experts (GMs and coaches always have a plan that us average fans can't see), and there's never any reason to complain. There are enough true fans to fill Arrowhead on any given Sunday, so that sucks.

Both groups are annoying (with the edge going to the latter for the superiority complex and passive aggressiveness), and most of them are probably lucky if they hit 3 digits in the IQ column on any given day.

In the middle, there's a lot of apathy. Some were once complainers who still vent their frustrations from time to time but know there's no use, and some were oblivious and still come out of the woodwork every once in a while to cry about the complainers but don't care enough these days... and those who do one or the other get lumped into the extreme groups, which is unfortunate... but, they're the most realistic fans.

But, we just don't need to hear that same opinion in every thread.

I wasnt refering to the naysayers.

Come on guys and gals, some of you are being obnixous again. We get it, you wanted Geno and hate the draft picks. Very few posters are saying everything is roses and unicorns. You don't have to repeat the same opinion in every single thread.

The die is set. It is what it is. Time to move on.

Dude, the compensation is what I'd give for last-legs Brady or Manning. NOT Alex Smith. There are serious question marks here thus far.

Bump for all the negative Nancys posting in here. We went from 2-14. A player killed himself in the parking lot.

Pioli is gone. The atmosphere at Arrowhead is back.

I'm not scared one bit of Indy. We can go in there and kick their ass. After the first drive we just put Charles on the back burner. That ain't happening in Indy.

We will beat Indy in Indy.:harumph:

007 12-22-2013 06:24 PM

We won't be playing Indy.

What makes you think we are not?

Bowser 12-22-2013 06:35 PM

What have you seen from this team when playing against a playoff caliber team that makes you think we're anything other than a one-and-done team in the playoffs?

didn't you read the playoff scenario thread? Sounds like we have just as high a chance of playing NE as Indy right now. To be honest, I don't want to see Indy ever again. They have our ****ing number.

HonestChieffan 12-22-2013 06:37 PM

Anybody who wanted Geno is a dick. But it is time to give credit to the guys at the top

Bowser 12-22-2013 06:37 PM

And they've done great this season. It's been a ton of fun watching the turnaround. But this is 2010 all over again with the smoke and mirrors.

The difference this year from '10 is that I believe Reid and Dorsey can build off of this year where Haley and Pioli couldn't from 2010.

No way the Pats lose to the Bills at home with a first round bye on the line. Nada chance.

We held back on the playbook and Charles today. After the first drive Charles barely touched the ball. In Indy, Charles will touch the ball at least 30 times.

jlw62987 12-22-2013 06:47 PM

You're a complete moron if you think they held back today. There was still a chance at winning the division. Some of you are completely oblivious to reality. Unbelievable some fans actually believe the crap you just spewed.

Isn't that, by far, the most important difference? Even if that were the only difference between 2010 and 2013, and I don't agree that it is, it seems like that's enough to welcome this huge step forward.

Oh, absolutely. If this is what they can do with the remnants of a team that went 2-14, I can't wait to see what happens when they have their players and systems solidly intact for a couple/few seasons.

2-14 to at worse, 11-5 is a huge step forward.

Maybe, I've been called worse.

I try to see the good possibilities and outcomes instead of dwelling on the negatives.

A legitimate starting WR, TE, and two new starters in the secondary would do a lot toward curing our ills.

A remarkable turnaround from last season to be sure.

Held back? LMAO

This looked like the same crap we got for the first several weeks minus the elite defense.

agreed, we need more and better parts to make this a legitimate threat to the Brady and Mannings of the NFL.
