Fried runny yolk, tabasco on top and dip my bacon and toast into the yolk.

Also, the breakfast bowl at IHOP, fried runny yolk. Seasoned home fries topped with egg, then diced tomato, then crisscrossed bacon strips.

Over medium.

Omelet with all manner of foodstuffs in it. Eggs rule.

over easy is the way to go.

I like em on a burger and when you bite in they explode and ooze into the cracks.

I like em on freaking everything.

I suspect that I may not like the '100 year old' egg though.

More seriously...
Love them in eggs benedict
Scrambled with dill (underrated and simple ingredient for it)
Also baked like in a gruyere quiche, but mediterranean food has interesting uses too (great in tagines, tave kosi, tunisian egg dishes)

Love eggs Benedict or spinach, asparagus or crab Benedict. Scrambled with fresh chives.

IHop cooks the worst eggs. IMO they suck for breakfast. Perkins is better if you hafta' eat at one of those places.

Italian stratas. I make one every Christmas morn.

Over easy with country fried steak, gravy, and hash browns. Buttered wheat toast.

ChiTown 06-15-2014 09:55 AM

Over Easy, on potato bead with bacon and a slice of tomato and Swiss cheese. FTMFW!

hometeam 06-15-2014 09:56 AM

If I'm having an egg just to eat, it's gotta be over hard. I can't handle the texture of gooey yolks. I know that's akin to cooking a steak well, but I can't help it. Don't care for scrambled or any other way, and my preference is as a sandwich on toast.

However, I make a damn fine browned butter fresh pasta dish with sage and an over easy egg on top. The egg yolk mixes with the browned butter for a creamy sauce...
