Oh hell. Hope that doesn't mean he is toast.

From what I understand we'll get a lot of the Hound and Arya traveling this season.

Reading all of these posts makes me thirsty.

That's wonderful news. Arya has started her retribution tour, and I can't wait. Loved the ending also.

Yeah, she let that dude have about a half second of recognition before . . . schnurk.

He never seemed to have much chemistry with Daenerys. At least to me.

Sorter 04-06-2014 10:43 PM

Oberyn was awesome.

KC_Connection 04-06-2014 10:51 PM

No Theon, Stannis, or Bran this week, but I liked the increased focus on King's Landing with Jaime's conflicting return, Tyrion's many problems (which seem certain to get worse now that Cersei knows about Shae), and the introduction of Oberyn (who will almost certainly start shit very soon).

Also, Arya gets one of the names off her list. She is taking steps to become more ruthless and unmerciful than Ned ever was. It may just be what keeps her alive.

Some things just go together.

He was a good choice for the role.

Here's the one for the Wall and Beyond:

Here's the one for Dragonstone and East of there:

And this one discusses the various locations on the map that shows during the opening credits. If you haven't paid attention, the map changes based on what locations are being featured in the episode. This is basically a primer on the geography of GoT:

Heed the advice. Don't Google the series. Don't go to these "info" sites unless they are adamant that they are spoiler free. There are "red wedding" level surprises coming. Don't spoil it for yourself.

So true! I had high hopes for him, and they were absolutely exceeded. So glad Daario was recast too. He was seeming more goofy than he should. The first scene with the sword holding contest was a bit of a down shift, but I think it is for the better.

I purposefully stopped listening to the audiobooks when the events started being unfamilar from season 3. I want to enjoy this unspoiled, then go back and listen for greater detail.
