Does he count as a WR?
Sweet
Not a QB! **** this team! I'm a bundle of sticks./Inmem
Why?
crappy pick is crappy
McCluster clone.. WHY GOD WHY??????
You just watch, he's explosive!
I like it
I like it. Replaces McBuster. I know the kid from the CFL does the same but I watched Thomas a lot and look out when he gets in the open field
Another McCluster-****
Might have been the only guy to answer his phone
This is the first pick I'm unhappy with. I don't like this type of gadget player.
This is why they are waiting until 2015...

I just hope Aaron Murray lasts til next pick.
I know we're gonna draft him if he's there. I can feel it. Reid loves the kid. He'll succeed in this league. He's gonna be groomed to take over Chase's spot when his contract is up or if he's traded. |
Would trading up and giving up one of our 6's for Telvin Smith make sense?

That catch at 2:24 it pretty impressive.
They're going to use him as a WR? Hmmm... that could work...
I like the pick. He brings a different type of explosiveness that mccluster didn't have
Yeah, I'm not impressed with this pick
His official 40 time at the combine was 4.5. Fix original post plz.
Is he suppose to be our DeSean?
You know McCluster and Thomas are not actually the same person.
Love this pick. KR/PR/RB/WR. Speed and juke. Sproles.. |
I liked McCluster, so this pick is so so. I still think we should have went OL or secondary.
I LOOOOOVE this pick. My family is from Oregon and I've watched this kid play a ton. He plays much faster than the 4.5 he ran. Had he run a 4.3, he would have been a second round pick.
I like this pick!
He played in Snoop Dogs youth football league so the street cred is there.

Love this pick. Watched every one of his games. You hold your breath when he has the ball.

Thomas has great hands. Will make a great multi purpose guy and slot receiver. Great pick!
Speed kills. I love this pick.

This dude is a baller.
The McCluster comparisons are stupid. McCluster wishes he was as fast Thomas. Thomas has way more stop and go and can actually make people miss, with hands just as good. You guys are bitching about a 4th round draft pick that's an electrifying return man and gadget player. McCluster wasn't a bad player anyway. He was a contributing gadget player, and i think this guy will be even better...and he wasn't a reach. |
De'anthony Thomas is going to be one hell of a weapon for Reid. Those underneath crossing routes that McCluster took for 7-9 yard gains? Those are going to turn into 10-15 yards gains and a real chance at turning into TDs. McCluster has nowhere near the straight line game speed that Thomas has.

Yeah but how's his spin move?

Black Mamba.
I love this pick. |
This guy has GREAT hands. DMC could never do this shit.

Goodbye, Cyrus Gray. You should have caught that dump off pass against Indy. We hardly knew ye. You too, Joe McKnight.

Their game is completely different. Thomas has far more explosivness. Thomas was running in the 4.3's at his Pro Day. Watch the dude play. He's a legit home run threat. |
McCluster sure as hell couldn't do this either. This kid has wheels.

This was the perfect value/need pick. Could end up being the steal of the draft if he stays healthy. I love this pick.

That play alone shows why he's not McCluster. |
Great pick. Playmaker.

Sexy pick indeed
Playmaker
He looks so patient out there, almost Priest Holmes-esque. He follows his blocks and is smart about his running lanes.
Anybody else see that? |

When you draft a player in the 4th round, turn on his highlight film and it's literally 7 minutes of him taking it to the house play after play after play, then it's ok to feel good about the pick.
His highlight video is seriously 7 straight minutes of hitting home runs. He's a great gadget player taken where a great gadget player should be taken. |

David Yankey is still around as is Antonio Richardson. You have to think that we're looking at one of those two if they are there at our next pick.

There's too much talent left in the draft for us to spend a 4th rounder on a special teamer who isn't going to get any significant touches with the offense.

Well I'm exceptionally disappointed considering Pierre was still on the ****ing board. HB really isn't a NEED right now...
