@evansilva: If Andy Reid tries running a high-volume pass offense (as always), I will be surprised if Alex Smith lasts 16 games without getting benched.

Couple things from this update:

* Malcom Bronson is listed as a safety, not a corner.
* Greg Castillo is listed as a safety, not a corner.
* Josh Martin and Ridge Wilson are listed as DE/LB combos. I'll list them at the bottom of both positional depth charts.
* Brad Madison is listed as "DL," so he will be put at DE, not OLB.

Changes will be reflected in OP.

Yeah, a bit of a surprise. As someone who really respected and loved to watch his college days, I'm a little surprised. I expected him to be better in the pros.

Showed some promise last year. Showed up to camp as a fat ass as a rookie, conditioned, and played in the 1st game in Detroit, where he then got injured.

Showed up to camp this season as a fat ass and was cut.

Think you're keeping to many RB's, TE's, and FB's. Also think Wylie, Baldwin, or Richardson get cut at WR, off its Richardson, practice squad.

Also think Edgar Jones makes the team no problem. Maybe Zombo and Diles too.

Update - Kilgore gone Cox in

http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=9566435

Lightrise 08-17-2013 09:18 AM

I'm beginning to see many glaring holes. The draft is beginning to look quite poor. Kelce might be ok, but I'm getting impatient. Beyond that I'm totally unimpressed. The fullback we drafted won't make the team. I'm not sure about Kush either, but we certainly need him. I'm now convinced Hudson is a bust, Allen too. We have line problems that is not going to get better quickly. Schwartz is going to have to step in I think. We just blew it in the draft. Frankly Kelce looked right at the time but in retrospect, should we have gone elsewhere? We have depth problems. I think the OL coach has failed. It's not too soon to draw that conclusion. Can Childress take that on as a special emergency project? I just see things now as marginally better at best. I don't care how many screen passes Smith throws. He doesn't look like Cassel out there. I watched one snap of Cassel last night and he fumbled...lol.

In58men 08-17-2013 01:08 PM

Kelce has been nothing, but a disappointment. We had ourselves a horrible draft with only starter who seems be somewhat a pussy.

Stanzi, copper, Braden Wilson among chiefs cuts

Dante84 08-25-2013 06:39 PM

Per PFT:

Quote:

...Among the cuts was Ricky Stanzi, a project of the previous administration.

He was made expendable when the Chiefs traded for Alex Smith and signed free agent Chase Daniel, but he lost the third spot to undrafted rookie Tyler Bray.

The Chiefs also released veteran wide receiver Terrance Copper, along with the following players: Defensive back Vince Agnew, defensive end Miguel Chavis, offensive lineman Ryan Durand, offensive lineman Hutch Eckerson, defensive back Otha Foster III, offensive lineman A.J. Hawkins, defensive end Rob Lohr, cornerback Kamaal McIlwain, running back Jordan Roberts, wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker, defensive back Neiko Thorpe and fullback Braden Wilson.
