These.

Finally, we agree.

I give in. Sign me up.
How exciting would it be have a rookie projected to be a franchise QB?

If you want this guy, you better keep on losing. Jags fans have their eyes on him too.

Jags, Raiders, Saints and Browns fans can suck me.

Geno Smith is all ours.

Love me some Geno.

There are no jags fans.

Per Peter King:

Quote:

Geno Smith, the West Virginia quarterback, is about the same dimensions as Robert Griffin III (6-foot-3, 215), but not quite as mobile. As far as production, Smith is matching, and exceeding, RGIII early in his career. The stat line for Smith -- first for his starts in the 2012 regular season, then for his stats in all games played in 2012.

I spoke with two veteran personnel men Saturday night after Smith's incredible eight-touchdown, six-incompletion game against Baylor. "It's early,'' said one general manger whose team will be scouting quarterbacks this fall. "I haven't seen him in person yet. But I saw most of this game [against Baylor] and what's impressive is his downfield accuracy. He doesn't have the mobility Griffin has, but he has very good arm strength, and when he leaves the pocket, he can make people miss.''

Another scout said it's way too early to tell whether Smith has passed Matt Barkley of USC atop the quarterback boards of NFL teams. "But I know when he went to the Manning camp in Louisiana in July, he impressed everyone with his play and his presence,'' the scout said. "He's the kind of guy who takes control of a huddle and gets guys to play for him.''

I beg to differ.

Bronco fans are all jags.

Not gonna happen with the shit stains running this franchise.

Flynn could be available though since he couldn't beat out a rook in preseason.

Usually this kind of thing doesn't make me wet or excited in the least. I normally couldn't give a shit. But after 4 years of a walking vomit-stained piece of dried excrement in Matt Cassel who blames his teammates for his mistakes under the banner of "team unity," a sharp contrast to that in Geno Smith gives me an erection now.

I am growing my own chocolaty penis in tribute and preparation.

This is really what it comes down to. (Well, that and he's insanely accurate, has a great arm, an amazingly quick release, incredible pocket presence, understands his progressions, smart and is very athletic too boot.) Watch him in the games. The guy has absolute control of the offense. There's a confidence, a leadership quality that really seperates the true franchise guys from backups. Geno is a stud.

I feel comfortable declaring this thread the True Fan Zone for all things Geno Smith.

Tell us all about the types of meat you'll be grilling and the beer you'll be drinking when Geno Smith leads the Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory.
