Light Of Day from the New York DVD is so awesome, really captures the energy the Boss and E Street is capable of putting forth.

Bruce Springsteen & The East Street Band

In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway american dream
At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines
Sprung from cages out on highway 9,
Chrome wheeled, fuel injected and steppin out over the line
Baby this town rips the bones from your back
Its a death trap, it's a suicide rap
We gotta get out while were young
`cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run

Springsteen goes right next to U2 on my list of very popular groups that I just don't get. At all.

Rosalita, Come Out Tonight

My tires were slashed and i almost crashed but the lord had mercy
My machine she's a dud out stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of jersey
Hold on tight stay up all night `cause rosie i'm comin' on strong
By the time we meet the morning light i will hold you in my arms
I know a pretty little place in southern california down san diego way
There's a little cafe where they play guitars all night and day
You can hear them in the back room strummin'
So hold tight baby `cause don't you know daddy's comin'

Rosalita jump a little...

There's no grey area with Bruce you either do or you don't.Personally it was 1981 when I got a call from a friend to go to his River Tour show and I was very hesitant having only heard a couple of songs.Decided to go and the man played for 4 hours with one, fifteen minute break and I realized then why he was called The Boss and had been written about in Rolling Stone with the quote,"I have seen the future of rock-n-roll and his name is Bruce Springsteen."

Once I started reading his lyrics I was a diehard fan.

Not trying to poke the bear, but two questions: how old are you and what groups do you get so to speak? The first may answer the second.

For me Bruce was the Young Uncle I never had that lept through life like an antelope and made me dream of all that could be. Since then he has become my generation's Woodie Guthrie and Pete Seeger. He is a not to be missed. All of my kids have him on their playlists along with Beastie Boys Madonna and Rhianna. They hear him in what they listen to...

Bruce is nothing compared to Eddie and the Cruisers.

Bruuuuuuuuuuuce.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think you're going to hear either of those on Monday.

If you're interested in seeing what songs to expect, check out this website (setlist.fm). You can see what people say he's played at other concerts on this tour. You can even look at the tour statistically to see what songs he's played at the most shows (in this case, it's "We Take Care of Our Own").

Some artists play the same set night after night, but it looks to me like Springsteen varies his setlist quite a bit from show to show.

Yep,he's known for that, hopefully tomorrow the odds are in our favor of hearing Spirits in the Night.

We produce more than douche bag reality shows. I'm about a decade short on his real era but I still love the Boss. Guess I can thank my dad for that.

Whoa. That statistical look is exactly what I've been looking for. I was looking at his past set lists to try to predict, and it's hard to do since he varies so much. You can figure out a few sure things (or near-sure things, apparently), but there's a lot of randomness in it.

I figured those two songs I mentioned were long shots, but hey, I'm good either way.
