Agreed, I have dealt with him quite a bit and it's always been good

I get it. You don't have to yell at me about it. I thought we should've had Whit up here from the beginning. They obviously seem pretty bent on force feeding him in there though. If they don't send him down when Soler comes up then I don't know what we're going to do. He's just going to have to learn to hit. There's a difference between hitting .100 and slumping and hitting .100 and just looking lost, and right now he just looks lost.

This has been bad baseball to watch lately.

Spott 04-20-2017 08:19 PM

Damn, this team could be unstoppable if they could even have mediocre hitting.

Mr. Laz 04-20-2017 08:23 PM

duffy out, prepare to give up the game-winning run now

lewdog 04-20-2017 08:24 PM

Duffy is a ****ing man.

tk13 04-20-2017 08:24 PM

Complete shame they can't get Duffy a win after that performance.

tk13 04-20-2017 08:28 PM

I wonder if you could find many better stretches in team history.

Eh, pitcher wins stats are irrelevant. He pitches like this all year, what, 4 runs in 28 innings? He could only win 10 and still be in CY consideration

Yeah but this pitching staff is also playing WAY over their heads.

IIRC our rotation of Shields, Ventura, Vargas, Guthrie and Duffy was pretty electric during our 10 game winning streak in 2014.

BWillie 04-20-2017 08:31 PM

Hosmer has been one of the worst players in baseball in his last like 200 abs.

petegz28 04-20-2017 08:31 PM

time to move Hos out of the #4 spot....Ned has to do something to shake shit up a bit...

put Moose there move Hos to #3 and Cain to #2

siberian khatru 04-20-2017 08:32 PM

lewdog 04-20-2017 08:32 PM
