The last 1/3 or so of this movie was just complete ass. Surprisingly bad...

When the guy got his face reconstructed and pretty much came back to life, that was the last straw for me. I was pretty much done with it at that point.

Sure-Oz 12-25-2013 11:51 AM

This movie got a 69% overall score on RT...Did i miss something? I'd say 50% at best

Mosbonian 12-25-2013 12:49 PM

This movie pretty much was a waste of my money....

I enjoyed it for what it was.

It wasn't anything groundbreaking or blow your mind, but it wasn't a waste of my time either.

This for me. Got it at the Redbox, nothing groundbreaking, but an enjoyable enough waste of time on a lazy Christmas morning.

Well damn. I was looking forward to watching this, but after reading this thread it sounds like it might just disappoint me.

62% audience score. That speaks volumes. Those are people that actively seeking out the movie. Not just a critic that has to watch it. That is how Tyler Perry's movies do so well. His xmas movie is getting 75% audience rating now.

On rotten tomatoes, a movie is truely bad when it gets less than 75% audience rating. I have loved movies that have horrible scores on RT.

Yeah, i have never really paid attention to the viewer ratings and I noticed a good chunk of movies with middle type ratings usually have a score higher or much higher. I need to view that more often.

I saw Thor Dark World for Ex have a 62% but audience gave it a 83% which i more so agreed with

Deberg_1990 06-29-2014 06:28 PM

I just watched it. I thought it was very good. Yea, i get that some didnt like the heavy handed message but to me thats what makes good sci-fi. Taking a modern day political message and build a sci-fi theme around it. Pretty cool to me.

Only thing i didnt like was Shartlo Copleys unintelligible accent. He definately played his creepy part well though.

Ill take thinking mans action movies anyday over Transformers crap.

I always thought Atlas Shrugged was more that the poor and middle class need the rich to provide them jobs?
