Best way to book a Disney World vacation?

I'm in the very early stages of trying to plan a trip for our family to go to Disney World in late September/early October.

I've never been to Disney as an adult - my last time was in 1993 and it was god damn miserable, but I'd like to plan a great trip for my 6 year old.

We'd like to stay on property. Is there any tips, sites to utilize, to get the best deals? I'm sure we will get the fast pass and all that because we are only going for 3-4 days.

Thanks for any advice/help.

We're not telling you unless you give us some insider info. You've been slacking.

Stay on the property for sure. Don't go cheap on anything, in the end, it's not really worth the hassle and the little you save. The fast passes are worth it for sure.

We stayed across the water from downtown disney. When you go to magic kingdom l, park at epcot and take the rail system. Easier in and out, less traffic etc.

My uncle lives in Orlando and they have season passes and go a ton so we got alot of little tips.

Get a room thats a suite, go to the grocery store for breakfast food and sandwhiches, water etc. Take a cooler in the park for that stuff. Get up, go early, do some stuff and go back to your room over lunch, then go back in the evening. It's super crowded and hot during the day.

I'll post more if I think of anything

Have zip to share. Haven't had anything in close to a year. Stopped getting replies and just pretty much stopped asking after a few went unanswered.

It's definitely expensive.

We have some friends whos parents took them, their two kids and his sisters family 2 weeks to disney, paid for everything.

He said it ended up costing them about 40k.

The good thing about staying on property is the wrist bands

****in' A, have them hit me up next time. I'll scoot out of my home for $40k and weekly passes.

Holy Steamboat Willie.

I know.

However, 40k for his parents apparently is a drop in a bucket.

I thought it was crazy, but we roughly added it all up.

10 round trip flights, 3 rooms for 2 weeks, all the passes, all the food etc.

Crazy

Then it's all good.

I have houses smaller than mine renting for $12k a month on my street so that number would be fine.

:D

www.disneyworld.com

Its the best way and you are in complete control of your planning. Trust me you don't want to leave it in the hands of another boards travel agent. Deal directly with disney. They won't steer you wrong.

I have five trips under my belt now so if you have any questions at all just ask.

Start on their current deals page first.
