My intention in high school wasn't to piss off every double digit-IQ'ed jock. It was to mind my own business and quietly protest a 30 second tradition that I happen to respectfully disagree with.

I'd suggest you do a better job reading before typing up your often inept interpretation.

Yes, rebelling through protest. Thanks for the admittance. And as you can tell, my reading skills are fine.

No, you refuse to stand and recite because you aren't a big fan of America. You already stated that.

Question: have you considered renouncing your citizenship? That is a right, by the way.

Your reading comprehension still blows for quarters. I pay my taxes and vote when given the opportunity. My citizenship shouldn't be defined by something so trivial. I think that America is fallible. It's too easy to love your country like a 4 year old loves his mommy. I prefer to love it constructively. Loving and appreciating something shouldn't always lead to pledging your allegiance to it. The whole contention just seems silly to me. The same goes for the national anthem, especially before sporting events.

I didn't say that you should renounce your citizenship. I asked if you were aware that you can renounce your American citizenship and if you had considered it.

So, no, again my reading comprehension is fine.

You brought up the contention by asking the question. I responded. You still have the reading comprehension skills of Jameis Winston.

I understand you want to believe that, yes.

Are you proud to be an American?

At times, yes.

If I would have been around for Truman's genocide during WWII, I probably would have taken your citizen renunciation question a little more seriously.

The national anthem is a perfect time to get up and run to the restroom before a game starts. While everyone else is standing around singing or staring off into space, you can walk right into the restroom and get your business done.

The people behind the concession counters have to stand and do nothing during it as well, so you cannot buy a beer during the anthem, which seems un-American to me.

I see. You are generally proud to be an American.

To which genocide by Truman during WWII are you referring?

Now that's about as PC as it gets, but I doubt I'll see any of the usual nuts complaining.

The murder of roughly 200,000 innocent Japanese citizens. 60-80,000 of which were killed instantly.

But Truman saved lives by doing so!!!1!

Bull ****ing shit.

You are referring to the decision to use nuclear weapons at Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

You're right. I knew that but had completely forgotten.

That's a different time and place my friend. I'll leave it at that.
