Tyler Wilson is NOT Rivers...but I see more Rivers in Wilson than I see Ponder. Just like Geno isn't Jason Campbell...but I can see the comparisons. FWIW, I do not see the Alex Smith comparison.

Depends on who you ask and how you look at it. The shots he has taken have proven him to be tough, but have led to the durability concerns in my opinion. I wouldn't say the durability concerns are totally glaring, but I'd say they are moderate. To be honest, less glaring then Ponder, which contradicts my statements regarding their comparison, "every facet of the game," "Wilson = Ponder," etc.

I'm not totally low on the guy....just not totally high on the guy...I think we can do better with where we'll be selecting. Could be wrong though. I wouldn't be heartbroken if we selected him, but would feel apprehensive.

I am not in the Wilson camp, but anyone that has watched Wilson and seen the shots he's taken, and the fact that he keeps getting up and coming back for more and suggests he has durability issues is making shit up or a ****ing moron.

I think all of the shit that has gone on during the offseason leading to a season not meeting the expectations of others has got to Wilson. He tested his stock last year and decided to stay in school, expecting to be running the same offensive system, etc.

As I said earlier, it has become obvious to me that even if Wilson IS a leader, the situation he's in now isn't conducive to him showing he can do it. It's just a bad situation.

I love people who want to be taken seriously when they evaluate players by comparing them to existing players. It's a ridiculous practice. Thousands of variables exist within the confines of the game, not to mention outside influences, all of which completely alter the circumstances which will ultimately define a player. Player comparisons are for hacks.

These guys have a higher ceiling than Barkley and their arm strength/ability to use their legs should make coaches jump at them.
