Budweiser tracks down Chiefs fan who sacrificed beers for Eric Fisher’s viral touchdown celebration

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Budweiser said it has “something special” for the Kansas City Chiefs fan who sacrificed his beers for the viral touchdown celebration by offensive lineman Eric Fisher.

The celebration happened early in the fourth quarter of Kansas City’s epic comeback against the Houston Texans. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to tight end Blake Bell to boost the score to 47-31, but it was Fisher who stole the show and went instantly viral.

Fisher raced through the end zone to celebrate with his teammates, and he did his best Stone Cold Steve Austin impression by grabbing two beers from a fan sitting in the front row and smashing them over his head.

Budweiser took to Twitter after that to track down the fan who gave up his beers for the most viral moment of the NFL playoffs.

“Help us find the fan whose beers were sacrificed for the shower celebration. We have something special for him,” Budweiser tweeted.

It didn’t take Budweiser long to find him.

About 45 minutes later, Budweiser tweeted, “We found him. Got a whole buncha Buds and some other surprises coming your way.”

That was such a cool moment. Our O-Line - especially Fisher - freaking balled out yesterday.
