Hey babe,
So I can just delete the entire list in the OP and post your new list, (after you get CC's list in there)? We'll count up the points tonight. |
Quote:
no give backs! I called it like my second day here. so sorry.... besides, I'm out for 24 hours, got into a pissing match with someone. LOL |

Edit: Yes, you will want to delete the current list in the OP and insert the new list of codes. |

We are updated.

So, it looks like the following points were scored:
Lewdog - 10 California Chief - 15 Stanley Nickles - 15 Crazy Coffee - 10 |

Wait, lewdog had her dying Feb. 28th? It should be Cali and I with 15, right?

Yea I don't have 15. I did have Feb 28th.
|
That's a big 10-4 Nickles... Thank you. I read that post wrong. I will correct.

So now I pick a replacement for Etta James, right?

too generic and socially pliable to be used in this context. what happened to proper safe words, like "discombobulated" or "mononucleosis" I weep for the future. |
Jerry Lewis, September 14

Stanley's got Jerry Lewis...
Good pick. I highly recommend someone take Sabol Sr. From NFL films. Also, Stewart Scott from ESPN isn't doing well. Booya! Posted via Mobile Device |

I hope he added the correct picture with it.... LOL anyway, my replacement pick is Luise Rainer 12/1/12 |

Good choice on your replacement celeb! She just turned 102 years old on the 12th. Ok, now I feel bad. :( |
I'll go ahead and take Zsa Zsa Gabor and predict that the grim reaper will visit her on February 6th.

I find this fascinating story about this cat named Oscar that lives in a nursing home. He seems to just know when a patient is going to die & waits in that persons room untill it happens. Just fascinating. Just thought I would share this in this thread cuz if this cat was playing he would win hands down. I wouldn't want Oscar to come visit me in my room, I'd be like shoo away cat and throw a shoe at him. |

If JoePa can hold on just 10 more days, Crush will get some bonus points here. Shame he didn't just guess a day in Feb.. he'd have a 50/50 shot of getting the within-a-week bonus.
|
Quote:
Shit, you're right. Since I am a dumb ass, do my dates default to the first of each month? Gonzo, what is your ruling? I'll understand if I do not get any bonus points. Epic FAIL on my part. |
i've got jo paterno 21/01/2012
|
Damn, it looks like Paterno is pulling a John Goodman. Reports of him being dead are false.
|

Then, on your selected date, call him again and tell him to throw himself in front of a Smart Car. That'll get you some serious pointage. Posted via Mobile Device |

A lot of you picked him. Rip Joe-pa. That sucks but this thing is starting to shake up.
I have a butt ton of work to do today on this list. Posted via Mobile Device |
Oh, and BTW...
I don't think I have 40% of the lists. You people are never going to catch up at this rate. Better get them in to me asap. Posted via Mobile Device |

Coffee and Dart are good. We'll get that list updated with scores tonight. I'll also try to type out a list of people that have yet to submit their lists.

I was thinking about putting up a list last night (with an obvious gimme of Paterno) but I found I just didn't give a shit. Sorry, dude. :(
|
Meh, it's cool. At least you're letting me know instead of letting me flap in the wind waiting.

In retrospect, (and I really appreciate everyone's patience and participation) I probably should have allowed 20 picks instead of ten.
Like I said earlier, I may do an expansion draft after the March 1 deadline sometime. I'll think about it. Posted via Mobile Device |

Here's a pic of the coat I'm putting up. (Thanks for posting the scores, Digger)
It's a nice parka, I've had it for a while I just don't wear it. It's not my type of thing, really. Like I said, it's an XL but will fit a larger person pretty well. I'd say it would be rather comfortable for someone who wears 2X or maybe even 3X. Hope you guys like it. :) http://emob563.photobucket.com/album...TYyNi5qcGc.jpg Posted via Mobile Device |
