I wonder what its like to have one

cmh6476 09-07-2014 06:09 PM

so can we post Giants/ Tigers updates in here too?

Molitoth 09-07-2014 06:12 PM

I know chiefs fans especially hate these teams, but it's going to be refreshing watching two successfully run franchises.

I will sit here and wish I was born into one of these fanbases.

Well I don't care what you do. Maybe that should go in the Royals gameday thread though.

TLO 09-07-2014 06:13 PM

Destroy Manning please.

It was a pretty awesome feeling back in 1993 and 1994.

tk13 09-07-2014 06:31 PM

They should make it so that teams have to kickoff from the 25 in Denver. There's no point.

Hammock Parties 09-07-2014 06:31 PM

nice DEEP throw on 1st

Easy 6 09-07-2014 06:32 PM

Waynes not even 100% yet.

Dont matter, wide open.

ChiefsCountry 09-07-2014 06:34 PM

Mile High's field looks like shit.

GloryDayz 09-07-2014 06:36 PM

Let him try again!

Just like the fans.

tk13 09-07-2014 06:39 PM

It is weird that it's week 1 and there are dead spots on the field. Looks like week 14 out there.

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:39 PM

We should dink and dunk all game like the Broncos.

-King- 09-07-2014 06:40 PM

Sanders getting open. Sigh.

siberian khatru 09-07-2014 06:40 PM

Wait, I thought Sanders played for the Chiefs.

Hammock Parties 09-07-2014 06:41 PM

arm looked a little dead there

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:41 PM

Shit throw from Manning there. Should have been picked.

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:43 PM

How can they allow teams to keep pushing for yards but call it forward progress when they fumble in an attempt to fight for more yards?

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:45 PM

I wish we would just go no huddle all of the time.

ThaVirus 09-07-2014 06:47 PM

Is it just me or does the field seem so much larger when you watch the Broncos' offense? It's like every spot on the field needs to be covered.

When I watch ours, and other shitty offenses, I feel suffocated.

Reerun_KC 09-07-2014 06:47 PM

MAnnings looking pretty sharpe tonight...

Oh that Alex Smith is a smart one, but not that smart

TLO 09-07-2014 06:47 PM

QUACK

TLO 09-07-2014 06:48 PM

Another quacker.

JohnnyHammersticks 09-07-2014 06:48 PM

See how teams like the Broncos, Seahawks, and 49ers get a bunch of good players playing most of the positions on offense and defense?

That's weird.

TLO 09-07-2014 06:48 PM

3rd and goal penalty time

tk13 09-07-2014 06:48 PM

Should've been picked.

-King- 09-07-2014 06:48 PM

How do you drop that?

TLO 09-07-2014 06:49 PM

2 passes that should have been intercepted on that drive.

siberian khatru 09-07-2014 06:49 PM

Damn, gotta pick that

TLO 09-07-2014 06:49 PM

3/4 of those passes looked god awful.

3-0 Broncos.

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:51 PM

Is it just me, or does Manning's arm actually look even weaker than last year? I'm sure that he'll still rip our mediocre secondary apart, but still. Seems like the plays are there to be made as long as our DBs keep their eyes up.

GloryDayz 09-07-2014 06:52 PM

Hey, our owner has issues, nobody cares and cries for him!

penbrook 09-07-2014 06:53 PM

So your saying we have a chance?

He'll lose more strength with each passing year with his injury. I've got the same thing at the same location in my neck and you can't stop the degeneration of your triceps

Yes. But it will require Smith to play better. Bowe's addition to the lineup should help.

TLO 09-07-2014 06:55 PM

Does Dookie-Nacho still play for the Donks?

TLO 09-07-2014 06:56 PM

Reggie Wayne has to be like 45, doesn't he?

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:56 PM

Also, Reid has absolutely got to be better with his play call. He can't try to baby our OL like he tried to do earlier today. It's what got us into trouble in the first place.

TLO 09-07-2014 06:57 PM

Welp.

-King- 09-07-2014 06:57 PM

Terrible throw.

OldSchool 09-07-2014 06:57 PM

Classic Andrew Luck. People hang on his jock but he has multiple plays like that in every game. Poor throw leads to INT.

Sure, but he's also got the talent to rebound and throw for 4 TD's and lead them to a win.

KCrockaholic 09-07-2014 06:59 PM

Luck is going to make plays when they're needed though.

You mean TY Hilton on Lewis? I think that any QB could have beat our secondary with just that 1 guy.

This

Eleazar 09-07-2014 07:01 PM

I'm starting to think that Luck is going to be more like a Favre than a Manning or Brady. He's a good QB, but he's also gambler who is going to make you slap yourself on the forehead pretty often by trying to force things.

ThaVirus 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

LMAO holding on the defense? That was just great coverage

Easy 6 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

You knew that holding call was coming... oh but wait! gotta negate that with an opposite call... offsetting penalites/Goodell

TLO 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

That wasn't a duck...

Dylan 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

what a pass lol

OldSchool 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

Wow, all that the LB had to do was turn his head.

Jimmya 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

Perfect toss

the Talking Can 09-07-2014 07:02 PM

perfect throw

notorious 09-07-2014 07:03 PM

My God.

Manning puts the ball in the perfect place.

007 09-07-2014 07:03 PM

Muck fanning

OldSchool 09-07-2014 07:03 PM

Manning has great timing and anticipation with his receivers, that's the only way that he gets away with his lack of arm strength. If he isn't perfect on the timing of the throw, it's an incompletion.

You ever watched a Bronco game? That's how damn near all of Peyton's passes are. He's just so good that they never get picked.

notorious 09-07-2014 07:04 PM

Denver is constantly attacking.

WHY DON'T WE ATTACK?!?!

TLO 09-07-2014 07:04 PM

Ball doesn't impress me much.

OldSchool 09-07-2014 07:04 PM

Best rhythm passer in the league, that's why it's so hard to sack him if you can't disrupt his receivers.

Once in a while he tosses a duck though. Teams just have to be ready for that duck to come. His play makers also help him out a lot. D Thomas and J. Thomas are great at fighting for the ball in traffic.
