It is sad to think about, but Native Americans are about the only ethnic group where it still seems to be ok to be racist towards. Look at Washington's mascot. Had it been any other ethnic group and their skin color it would have been banned long ago. This goes for Redman tobacco, and the Cleveland Indians mascot with that cheesy smile etc....... Which part is pure baloney? Certainly not the drunken panhandling in Flagstaff and New Mexico parts. I've seen it, we have posters in this thread that live/d there and witnessed it as well.

I'm sure that behavior has been witnessed, i've witnessed it myself in Great Falls, MT and Fairbanks, AK.

But i dont let it color my perception of an entire race of people either, because i've witnessed good people as well. My best friend in montana was a Crow, my very close uncle is a mix of Blackfoot, Cherokee and Sauk, until two years ago i worked with and really liked another, a SUPER nice guy, would do anything for anyone.
