Rained out until a later date when the royals whoop their asses

Go Royals!

In for the rain out. :(
Hopefully the stadium doesn't get hit by a tornado. |
yeah, the forecast doesn't look encouraging.

Man I sure hope they get this one in

My hope for Mr. Daniel Duffy is that he has a steady, healthy season. If he can remain healthy all year, the top of our rotation will be quite formidable.
|
Gay. I took a vacation day today for other reasons. Was pumped to get to watch the game. Hopefully, it doesn't get rained out.
|
Hoping today turns out like yesterday. Weather warms up, sun makes an appearance and the rain stays away. We were supposed to have similar weather this morning.
I did hear on the news this AM that the chance of rain is dicey and that thunderstorms this afternoon will be spontaneous and scattered, not long-lasting. |
I have a feeling that the Royals may have a quick trigger for this. If it was just a thunderstorm watch then maybe they wait till close to game time, but the forecast discussions from the NWS are talking about possible tornadoes. If they still think that tornadoes tonight are a possibility by about 5:30pm or so, then the Royals are not going to want people to leave home. You can't send 15,000 people from your parking lot to drive around in a tornado watch box.
There's still a chance that the forecast could change dramatically this afternoon to the point where rain is no longer likely and we could then get the game in, but if not then the Royals are probably not going to mess around with this. |
