Ditto on limiting it to a 3" lift, but it also depends on what size rubber you plan to run and what rears you have.

For what it's worth, I've had good experience with Skyjacker.

I'm pretty sure I will just go up to 31..maybe 33..I have 3.73 in it now and I figure if I go up to 33 I will have to put in 4.10 and I really don't want to install new gears if I can keep from it

if you want to do 31s or 33s you are going to have a fair amount of modding which is a good thing to do with your kid. front tires are gonna rub, may have to change fender wells. driveshaft will be too short but if you have a buddy in a salvage yard, maybe he can get you one from a dump truck and you get 2 for one. you wont want to, but get a slip yoke eliminator. flip your springs and make them over/under.

Home hit me with a quote. Let's say our total MSRP is 37k for a GT.

I was able to get about 17% off total msrp for my g37. What could you do? Ballpark it.

How soon do you need a car? I would just wait until the q50's drop a bit in price.

Those are the nicest looking sedans I have ever seen.

TambaBerry 11-23-2015 08:28 PM

I don't my car is just falling apart

Window not rolling down, seat belt latch not releasing, other various things, needs tires.

I really like AWD, I will probably drive my current car until it dies

Well my buddy doesn't know it yet but he's leaving with my Tahoe tonight and I'm keeping the brand new black silverado ltz he's bringing to show me.

He's gonna come down another thousand too. But either way it's mine

SAUTO 11-27-2015 06:18 PM

Wheel shopping now and it's harder than picking out the ride.

Ballpark? 10% maybe?

Didnt see this the other day, but I would guess around 10%

% off aside, that's not a really great comparison. Cheaper does not mean better, and cheaper does not mean better value.

Also Jason, is this truck going to see some actual work or will it be like ReRun's truck that is lifted like a monster truck, but never sees anything but pavement, and the biggest thing to touch the bed of his truck is a package of Costco diapers?
