Name 3-4 players in this year's draft...

... that you you think have the best shot at the Hall of Fame. Seems like each class ends up with about that many players in the HOF.

Here's a list of Mike Mayock's top 100 players for reference.

Spoiler!

3-4 HOFers?? LMAO

ChiefAshhole20 04-23-2013 07:31 PM

Eric Fisher, Arthur Brown, Jonathan Cooper.
I don't see any of the other players having a chance at being "elite" at their positions in order to make it to the HOF

Direckshun 04-23-2013 07:32 PM

I don't think there are any.

I think the best players out of this draft will be Luke Joeckel, Dion Jordan, Star Lotulelei, and Johnathan Cooper.

I don't think any of them will, however.

Pasta Little Brioni 04-23-2013 07:33 PM

so the midgets

TambaBerry 04-23-2013 07:41 PM

The Jags? Never heard of em.

All I know is we're probably not going to take the BPA because we already have some overrated punter on the roster. Also, we have colquitt.

The future biographies of several notable draft choices from the Class of 2013.

#1 pick - Luke Joeckel (Chiefs). The big tackle had enormous success in the NFL, going to nine pro bowls and becoming a fixture on annual all-pro teams during his 12-year career. Beloved by the fans in Kansas City, he had six consecutive seasons of not allowing a single sack, and acquired the nickname of IHOP for his pancake blocks. Unfortunately, he never made the Hall of Fame, primarily because he never played in a playoff game.

#6 pick - Geno Smith (Browns). Football historians still marvel at how "The Human Geno Project" lasted until the sixth pick. Having returned Cleveland to relevance, the Geno to Mohammad Massaquoi connection became legendary during the Browns' four consecutive Super Bowl wins, with the last-second 70-yard touchdown throw in Super Bowl LII being voted the greatest play in NFL history. Smith is now perhaps better known for his Hanes commercials and his starring role in Space Jam II.

#14 - Chance Warmack (Panthers). Often described as the best player in the draft class of 2013, Warmack slipped because his guard position received a low priority for several teams. After two pro bowls at guard, Warmack stepped in at quarterback after an injury to Cam Newton, and never looked back. For ten magical seasons, Warmack was the largest and most powerful quarterback in the league, capping a hall of fame career with a Super Bowl win in his final season. Cam Newton was relegated to a backup role, largely forgotten by Panthers fans, and Newton's mother remarked after the game that Warmack was her favorite player.

#25 - Manti Te'o (Vikings). In one of the greatest hoaxes of all-time, Te'o signs a five-year guaranteed contract for $12 million, and then promptly disappears with the money. The greatest trick that Te'o pulled was convincing people that he existed.

Luke Joeckel, Arthur Brown, Jonathan Cooper and Tyler Eifert.

Geno Smith is the only sure-thing.

Rain Man 04-23-2013 10:42 PM

Oh, and my guesses are:

Joeckel - Linemen taken #1 have always made the hall of fame so far.

Jarvis Jones - His production in college indicates high production in the pros.

Geno Smith - Seriously, the state of the game now will produce at least one HoF quarterback every year, and Geno is the best of the bunch.

KChiefs1 04-24-2013 06:22 AM

Joeckel
Warmack
Jordan
