Hitchens and Ragland should make a damn fine pair on the inside.

Just need an injection of quality on the line and the front 7 is looking in decent shape.

Because he’s rangy and excels in coverage. For as good as Ragland is, I’ve told people all offseason that we need a true WILB because I don’t think they see him as that.

Ragland is going into the role he should be in, the thumper who comes out in pass downs.

Look, we are going to have some holes on this team, but damn I love these two signings, especially this one. Frankly didn’t see it coming.

I really like this signing. I thought Chicago's ILB Chrisitian Jones would be cheaper, but I have zero problems with fixing that shit front 7.

I'm okay with the Dline being the hole this year if we draft aggressively to try and improve it cheaply going into next year.

If we get a big name CB I would be going Dline Safety Dline first three picks.

With Ragland and Hitchens we're much better vs. the run.

I know our DL and secondary need help but we just buffed the middle of our LB's. If K-Pass and Ford can just combine to be respectable replacing Hali we're fine at LB...

Geoff Schwartz was just interviewed on the Dan Patrick show, he expects the Chiefs to sign Star Lotulelei on defense in addition to Hutchins. He seemed pretty plugged in.

Calm down. If you want good players in FA you have to pay the going rate. I'm kind of suprised that we spent money on Defense, but glad we did. Means they have a ton of faith in Mahomes.

With his speed and fluidity he'll take what was historically the DJ role in sub packages. Or at least he CAN, and that's my guess...

i think this is a good deal, you get him for his 25-30 years. Prime front 7 talent. Anytime you can upgrade your front seven with athletic talent that has proven they can play at the NFL level is a plus.

He’s here to play WILB, DJ’s old slot. No question.
