I watched the Raiders last night...
 

And I have to say they looked much improved over last season. Their rushing game was kicking the crap out of the 69ers. Fargas, then McFaddan, and finally Bush.

Hate to say it, but they looked pretty good. Raiders were ahead 14-3 late in the 3rd quarter when I quit watching.

I know. But if our run defense doesn't improve... and hopefully it will when Dorsey get in there... it might be a tough game.

But it is only Gunthers 5th season. We have to give him some time to get all the parts in place.

Mcfadden was just running thru ppl not even trying to juke. He was just going forward but Bush was looking good. Doe Boy look sorry they still dont have a QB and Walker well i guess he still afraid of gettin his ass kick again.Because he did not do shit in the whole game.

Chiefs/Raiders should prove to be a couple of close games this year I'm betting.

Russell looked like shit. He looked really uncomfortable in the pocket.

No, the Raidurrs scored two touchdowns and, inexplicably, went for 2 on one of them. I watched from late in the second on and they didn't look so hot; lots and lots of penalties on offense. Also, keep in mind they were playing the 49ers who are probably a bottom 5 team. All in all, I wouldn't take much from the game- both teams were treating it like a practice and just trying stuff out that wouldn't happen in a normal game (went for it multiple times on 4th and long), although I will say the Raidurr D looked agressive (as it has the last few years).

I'm still betting this is the year the Raiders make noise and leave Denver and KC fighting for last in the division.
