@nfldraftscout: If #Chiefs want my opinion: Sign/trade for Alex Smith. Draft Matt Scott in Round 5. Cut Cassell. Sign Bowe. Draft Joeckel.

Here is what you do draftscout: run face first into an AIDS forest

So, just so I understand, you worry about Geno's sideline frustration when things ren't going well, which only occured a couple times, and see that as a red flag which leads to questions for you about his viability as the #1 overall, but a guy whose maturity issues are Leafesque is worth a mid second rounder?

This is what I don't understand from fans. Do t want the best qb from a bad class but the 5 best?

Yes, they would rather the top QB goes to one of those huge market teams like the Carolina Panthers...

The media was largely against the Cam Newton pick all the way up until the final week of the draft when they just ****ing accepted it and moved on.

They'll throw the exact same childish tantrum if the Chiefs are set on taking a QB at 1.

Alex Smith, Nick Foles or Matt Flynn will be our QB next year.

Much as I hate to say it it'd just as soon hit the field With Cassel or Stanzi as with any of those losers. What a horrific trio.

I might prefer Tyson Jackson running the wildcat.

We should hire Scott Pioli as a college scout and let him run our draft board.

KCrockaholic 02-17-2013 03:33 PM

If that happens don't take one at all this year. Just **** the QB position once again like we always do.

Why get the 5th best QB in an already supposedly "weak" class? It makes no sense at all.

Hammock Parties 02-17-2013 03:37 PM

Take Tyler Bray so we can enjoy the epic meltdown. We might as well be entertained if we're not gonna win.

Setsuna 02-17-2013 04:41 PM

Bray will be gone by the time you draft. So don't even.

I would take Joekel in the first so we can move Albert to Guard. Then, I would take a guard in the second so we can move Albert to Center.

We can sign waters and he can play center.

Then we could finally get Albert to QB. A LT at QB is a true-fan's wet dream.

I didn't choose Bray over Smith. But I might consider Bray a better value in the 3rd or late 2nd than Smith at the top of the draft. But I won't know until the interviews and the combine are in. If Bray's interview convinces the Chiefs brass that his "immaturity" was only a college phase I'll defer to Andy Reid.
