Heh. He said the Chiefs would go 8-8 too. Apparently we're going to win all our non-con games. Herm is such a ****ing toolbox. I like mike and mike. It is pretty mindless when I'm sitting on my ass trying to motivate myself to get dressed in the morning. But herm ****ed that up too! Goddamn Herm.

They havent experienced Herm yet... There will be new levels that only Herm can achieve...

That's uncharted territory dude. The lions won 0 games last year and didn't even sniff what Herm would do to the Raiders.

I'd add Houston. They beat them last year in week 15.

Houston's going to be good this year. I think they may even score a better record than the Colts. Not the Titans, but the Colts is a distinct possibility. I have them going to the playoffs.

If they can stay healthy, they could really surprise some people.

They've been building slowly, but it's starting to pay off.

I told anyone who would listen that they'd be a decent team before I went to Houston for the opener in 2007 and was laughed at.

Well, deservedly so. They were still bad in 2007. :)

Now at least they've got playmakers on defense, a halfway decent QB (still not quite sold on Schaub, but he could still improve) and a RB who is younger than 30. That team will make big plays with their talent at WR. Demarco Ryans and Mario Williams are stars. Amobi Okoye has also been brilliant from what I hear.

Come to think of it, I think they've got a very good chance at beating the Colts in the division. I really don't see how Indy can lose a primary offensive target, a head coach, and an offensive coordinator and not take at least a tiny step back.

Dude, they were 8-8 in a tough division after being 4-12 (IIRC) the year before.

taking one of two from the Chiefs would be very likely if Herm was the coach. Sorry Herm, I bet you are no better at crystal balling than you are at being a head coach.

That was the year they drafted Okoye. I thought they had to go 6-10 or something like that to get him?

LaChapelle 08-07-2009 10:55 AM

Herm would be the best coach Oakland has had in years. They've drafted to high for to long not to be at least average sooner or later.
