I think that's the point of the 17 game schedule.

An NFL team doesn't drop below 8 home games using this model.

I care about two things. The turf being in good condition to play on and we curb stomp Bucs dicks into that turf.

How does this make sense?

We were supposed to play the Bucs on the road, so they’d be the ones forfeiting the home game.

I think the article mentioned that about the Chiefs incidentally. It seems the Bucs will have a home game, and the Chiefs might be their opponent. Then it mentions that the Chiefs have lobbied to be the home team in a game in Germany. In other words, it's kinda pointless to bring that aspect up, but they did. It makes the article confusing.
