That's not the point, at all.

I've said since November that the guy had poor pocket presence and wilts under pressure. He's a checkdown king with little to no leadership skills.

He may develop into an average to above average QB. But he was NOT worthy of first round selection, let alone 1.1, because he is NOT NFL ready.

Tonight's game proved that notion.

That really wasn't in response to your post(s). Was he worth pick 1.1? No. Judging by the shit that's been considered a first round QB in recent times, I'd say he was worth a one though.

He wasn't ready to be a starting NFL QB when he went into the draft, but I think there was a lot to like there. Starting for the Jets is a bad situation and I'd say the coaching on offense has been poor.

There's a reason Andy Reid didn't really care to bring Marty with him to KC to run the Chiefs offense.

Really only one of the picks was a dumb throw.

One he just overthrew a guy.

The other was a bad play by the WR.

You sound like someone defending Cassel over the last couple of years.

So now a QB that should have been picked 1.1 was played too much in preseason? LMAO

Yep, he clearly lacks the damned near invisible ceiling possessed by Alex Smith! He sucks!

Geno's ceiling is Alex Smith. Unfortunately for Geno the NFL is much faster than college and unlike the Big XII they play defense.

Yeah but they had him throw 30 passes tonight.

It was clearly a bit much.

He had a rusher bearing down on him on his TD pass.

Clearly both of those are not true after tonight. LMAO

Trent Green once threw 4 INTs to Deltha ****ing O'Neal in the same game. And NOT when he was a rookie on a bad team.

"Smart" Alex Smith (yes, he's a smart QB) looked like a ****ing dumbass out there for at least his first 6 seasons in the league. Can't beat out Mark Sanchez as a rookie? Try not being able to KEEP HIS JOB over the likes of Shaun Hill and JT O'Sullivan. But surely he was impressive as a rookie, right? If being pulled in and out of the lineup in between recovering from injuries and seeing action in only 9 games, throwing 1 TD and 11 INT in that time is impressive, then Geno Smith is already in the Hall of Fame.

And I'm not shitting on Alex Smith here. I'm really not. The dude is an intelligent QB. So was Trent Green. And so is Geno.

Smart players sometimes look like shit as rookies. Quite often they do. Especially when there's a steep learning curve that has to be met.

Speaking of steep learning curves, I was told I need to back off of Eric Fisher's shitty game that he had against San Francisco. It was preseason and he's a rookie, right? The dude had a good game tonight, but he also looked like garbage last week because he was in this "transition" to the NFL that was steeper than what other guys had to go through. Is Geno Smith, who plays a much MUCH more difficult position, not afforded the same grace period?

30 passes is too much for a starting QB?

Troll.

LMAO

If Drew Allen is the real deal at QB we could be in for a nice season. Shafer will have the D firing on all cylinders.

Yep.

I think the game is a little "big" for Geno now. A little too fast.

And just like Alex Smith, the shit dump of an organization that is the Jets, is going to crush Geno Smith. He needs to get the **** out of NY as soon as possible.

KC would be perfect for him.

I believe the correct term is dumpster fire.
