If you don't want a baby, I say always use a condom. Whenever it comes to sex, you should never assume anything.

Please, condoms blow. Of course, I'd always recommend wearing one to avoid pregnancy and HIV/AIDS, but you can still catch a ****ton of shit while wearing a condom. HPV (which causes genital warts and is responsible for, like, 90% of cervical cancer cases) and herpes can be spread through skin-to-skin contact even with a love glove. I was reading up the other day, and the CDC estimates that about 20% of people have come in contact with the genital herpes virus.
