Is this trade lopsided?
Mark Ingram, Khiry Robinson, Golden Tate and Alfred Morris
for Le'Veon Bell and Pierre Garçon? |
Whoever gets Bell and Garcon wins.

I wouldn't think collusion, but I would think the team giving up Bell and Garcon (2 starters) for 1 in Alfred Morris is stupid.

Ingram was a top 10 back before he got hurt. He'll be back in a week.

I'm one of the teams in that trade. That's why I was asking.

I always try for 2 for 1 trades to upgrade players. Getting 2 of them in a single trade is pretty nice. I agree that Bell and Garcon wins that trade. I don't know if it's veto-able though.

Tate has outscored garcion two of the last four weeks and week one they were about the same. He has a better QB situation and with megatron getting all the coverage attention, in a PPR league he's going to continue to outscore garcion.
Giving up bell to get two (hopefully) consistent RBs and a handcuff is the real gamble. Plus with Todd hailey as an OC and a drug history, who knows. It's not that lopsided and in 4 weeks either side could look like a genius |

Getting Bell and Garcon would be the better end of that IMO.
As far as vetoing it, IMHO the ONLY reason to veto one is collusion. |
I'd always get a starter/star over multiple players, unless I'm desperate to fill multiple spots in my lineup.

I'm in the minority and while if I had Bell I would shop him for someone a little better than Morris I still prefer the team getting Morris, Tate and Ingram.
Khiry is a non-factor other than a handcuff he can be removed it's essentially 3 for 2. Bell was 1 of only 4 top 20 rushers last year with a ypc average of less then 4 yards per game. He's not a great runner doesn't have great speed or strength between tackles. I've already noticed his game start to revert pack to a tier 2 RB. He's the ultimate sell high right now. Puling the trigger on a trade most of times depends on team needs. If you don't have a great #2 rb then Ingram and Morris will fill in nicely. Tate has easily surpassed his pre-season expectations and it's time to re-adjust his value. He will match Garcon's production and maybe end up the better fantasy receiver. |
The one downside to making that trade was that it absolutely killed my RB depth that I had built up.
Went from: Lacy, Stacy, Morris, Ingram, Robinson, McKinnon and Davis Now: Lacy, Bell, Stacy, McKinnon and Davis |
