Kind of sad when everyone already pretty well knows not only who will be the champion and who they will beat in the finals but the teams that will be in the semis as well. NBA could probably learn something about parity from the NFL.

What? We do the same thing in the NFL as well. Predict who will will win each playoff game and go to the Superbowl.

I get that. I just think it is sad that you both picked the same teams to end up in the final four, championship series, and overall winner. I see we have had another prediction but at least on this one there are different teams in the semi-finals. Even so, it is still OKC vs Miami with the Heat winning it all. Seems to be the consensus. IMO, that sounds pretty boring when you know the outcome.

He's been cleared to play for a couple months. Of course he's doing the smart thing for himself. He's not coming back because he doesn't feel they have a chance to go very far. That's a dick move. Don't be apart of the problem, be apart of the solution. Everyone and their mom knows he could be playing right now.

I love Melo's game. Love watching the dude play. He has an oldschool mid range game that is awesome to watch.

Sure he has been "medically" cleared to play but it hasn't even been a year yet since he got injured. Let's not forget he played through alot of injuries last year and came back probably earlier than he should have and got hurt again. I am sure that is part of his thinking.

I'm not buying it man. He's not playing because of that. He could be playing but he's not because he feels it'd be a waste of time to do so this year. A lot of fans say that, by the way. Just like some Chiefs fans that thought Charles should've sat down last year because the season was lost, but you don't want that to actually happen. You'd feel he quit on us. Rose is being selfish, plain and simple. Some don't blame him, some do.

Ridiculous. The only reason Rose wouldn't play is because he isn't right physically. I'm not sure there's anyone who loves to play more than him, and he clearly feels a responsibility to rep his city. I'm actually impressed he's been able to withstand the pressure to return if he's not right.

Paul tries to play more physical than any guard in the league, but you get a little physical back and he starts flopping and acting pissed. I want to like the guy, but that attitude makes me hate him.

Let's say hypothetically you are right, would it make you feel better to see Rose out there even if he is half-assing it because he doesn't feel comfortable with his knee? What if he re-injured it? Then you are screwed for the next season as well.

Rose is a world class athlete that has some of the best trainers in the world and has the best doctors, all these guys do. I find it hard to believe he's not ready. I think it's his choice to come back when he wants to and he's choosing not to. If this were Cutler Chicago would burn his house down.

Jarryd Bayless is the worst player I've ever seen closing out and then turning to find the long rebound. He's given up 3 offensive boards in this game alone because of it.

At some point he's gonna have to try it out and just start playing. Obviously not until next year now. But you'd think from a psychology standpoint (if the real reason is what we're talking about which I'm not buying) he'd wanna do that now instead of waiting another six months. He's not a mental midget though, he just simply doesn't wanna give it a go this year.

The Pacers are probably the most balanced team in the playoffs.

Except they lack a true shooter now. Paul George though is becoming a true stud.
