This scares me......
I keep hearing all this pub about Joekell and started thinking about when the Dolphins took Jake Long #1 overall. In 2007, the Dolphins went 1-15 and had no QB worth a shart. In that same draft, Matt Ryan went to the Falcons. I think both teams went to the playoffs the following year, but the problem is that the Dolphins did it with an old man in Chad Pennington and a gimmick offense while the Falcons did it with a franchise QB.
What scares me is, what if the Chiefs pull a Dolphins and take Joekell #1 and ignore Geno Smith? If one team was stupid enough to do it, then I guess another one could follow the same travesty....... Hopefully, the Chiefs have learned from previous failure, but until I hear 100% that the Chiefs WILL draft a franchise QB, I guess that doubt is still gonna be there. |
Because this needed its own thread....

It's not ****ing happening.
Snap out of it, son. This team is almost out of its QB hole. Now is not the time to look down at what they were. Look up. See the sunlight. The freedom. We're getting a first round QB. |

Thanks, will be noted from now on! |

Sometimes, as fans, we overthink stuff. We have to remember that if we fans can see the problem, so can the people in charge. They're not stupid. |

Try not to listen to the radio or the pundits. They aren't very good at putting 1+1 together. This Chiefs team's biggest weakness is QB. Everyone and their mom knows that. Clark went out and picked a coach who has a reputation for......developing QB's. They appear to be bringing in a staff that is skilled at....drafting and developing young players/QB's. Sometimes the answer to our questions are so simple it can be staring us right in the face and we'll over think it and look right past it. I understand your concerns, and understand that those concerns won't be alleviated until Reid comes out and says, "we're drafting a QB"....but don't worry about it too much. We're getting a QB. |
